$4.3 million of the $4.6 million revenue beat and $4.9 million reported EBITDA beat was from an accounting change. Cash EBITDA of $4.3 million was below our $5.9 million est when removing the accounting benefit above.
Fiber Solutions was strong this quarter driving overall bookings upside ($3.8 million vs $3.3 million est) and offsetting some weakness in Colocation bookings. Strong bookings were pre-announced, so the additional details from the CQ1 report was that the company signed materially larger than expected contracts, which obviously imply much longer contract terms.
Revenue beat by $100 million (7.5%) and grew 14.6% versus our 6.5% estimate. The products segment represented 80% of the upside. Gross margin 130 basis points higher than expected, but margin pressure in services results in EBITDA being in-line with our estimates.
